500g beef mince
1 egg
1 cup bread crumbs
1 clove of garlic
1 tbsp mixed herbs
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
8 small bread rolls
Salad to serve
Method
- Place the mince, eggs, garlic, breadcrumbs and herbs into the food processor. Season with salt and pepper. Blitz until it is well combined.
- Roll the mixture in 8 small patties – you can freeze them like this to use later if you like.
- Heat a fry pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil and then add the patties. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- Halve the bread rolls, add the patty and then top with any salads that you have on hand (lettuce, tomato, beetroot, cheese etc).
