Choc Nut Slice

This slice needs to chill in the fridge for about 1 hours before serving.
Ingredients
1 C dates
1/2 C nut butter (e.g. peanut / almond)
1/2 C chopped nuts (e.g. peanuts, cashews)
1 C puffed rice
3 Tb coconut oil or butter
100g dark choc
Method
- Heat oil/butter in a small saucepan (you will need to mix all the ingredients into this so make sure it’s big enough).
- Roughly chop the dates and add them to the saucepan. Cook on a low heat until the dates are soft enough to stir/mash into a paste – about 10 minutes.
- Stir through the nut butter.
- Remove from heat and stir through chopped nuts and puffed rice.
- Press into a lined baking tray using the back of a spoon.
- Melt choc in the microwave in 30 second intervals and spread on top of the slice.
- Chill for ~1h and chop into 16 pieces!
