Anti-Inflammatory Roasted Nuts

Ingredients

  • 4 cups mixed nuts

  • 3 Tb maple syrup

  • 2 Tb coconut oil, melted

  • 1 heaped tsp turmeric

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a tray with baking paper.
  • Transfer the nuts into a large bowl. Add all other ingredients and stir through until nuts are well coated.
  • Spread on pan, and bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway.
  • Wait until the nuts are cool to transfer to an airtight container. I like to be recycling-savvy and store my toasted nuts in an old pasta jar!
