Cinnamon and Banana Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick cook oats

  • 2 cups full cream milk

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 small or 1 large banana

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Method

  • Mix oats, milk and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Turn down to low once it starts to bubble and continue to stir regularly.
  • Once the mixture thickens and becomes creamy, mix in the brown sugar.
  • Pour the oats into 2 bowls and top with cinnamon and sliced banana

Notes

  • You can also cook this in the microwave for approximately 3 minutes. Stop and stir regularly to avoid it overflowing.
